Who we are

Cog Connect is a company-controlled networking platform. We process data so organizations can issue branded employee digital cards and capture networking leads. Recipients do not need an app to view a public card.

Data categories

• Company (tenant) — organization name, domain, logo, brand, locations, plan and seat metadata.
• Employee — name, designation, work email/phone, photo, public card slug, share analytics (aggregated where practical). Employers typically control this data; Cog Connect processes it for the tenant. Employees do not pay personally for corporate cards.
• Recipient / lead / swap — contact details shared back via lead forms or card swap, stored only after consent, scoped to the tenant.
• Guest Design Studio — draft branding and sample person fields (and optional restore email) before signup, retained for a limited time.
• Telemetry & metering — aggregated views/scans and AI usage meters (for quotas). We do not sell personal contact data.

Sub-processors (summary)

Depending on configuration, processing may involve cloud hosting, OpenAI (design AI), Azure Document Intelligence (OCR), transactional email (SMTP), and Razorpay (India billing). A fuller map lives in our internal data-processing documentation for customers under contract.

Your rights / DSAR

Depending on your location (for example India DPDP, EU/UK GDPR, or US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data, or to opt out of certain sharing. Cog Connect does not sell personal information.

How to request: employees and recipients should contact the organization that issued or collected the card/lead first. Tenant admins may use in-product export/erasure tools when available, or email platform support for a data subject access request (DSAR). We aim to respond within applicable legal timelines once identity and scope are verified.

International availability

First-wave readiness targets India, EU/UK, and US notices. Full locale-specific legal copy (beyond this English summary) will be published after legal review — machine translation alone is not used as binding policy.
